Description

The research infrastructure Digitalia MUNI ARTS is part of the project LINDAT/CLARIAH-CZ and is based at the Centre for Information Technologies of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. It operates arts and humanities repositories under a uniform privacy policy.

Personal data processed

Most of the content of the repositories in the Digitalia MUNI ARTS research infrastructure is publicly accessible without the need to log in. Users who are authorized by the repository creator or system administrator can log in. For logged-in users, we record:

  • username
  • first and last name
  • e-mail address
  • unique ID to identify the user

When creating and editing repository content, revision records containing the following information are created:

  • username
  • timestamp
  • action taken

Purpose of the processing of personal data

Repositories and related services process the personal data of users and revision records for:

  • user authentication
  • automatic sending of e-mail messages necessary for the use of the services (password reset, submission information, etc.)
  • monitoring the load and capacity of the underlying server and network
  • resolving technical problems and investigating misuse of the service
  • statistics and development of the service

Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed

Personal data of users is not shared with any third party.

How to access, correct and delete personal data

Personal data of users is visible and editable in the user profile. In addition to the personal data of users, some Digitalia MUNI ARTS repositories collect selected biographical data of the persons being researched.
